“I was always hungry for love. Just once, I wanted to know what it was like to get my fill of it — to be fed so much love I couldn’t take any more. Just once.” – Haruki Murakami (via creatingaquietmind) (Source: middlenameconfused, via quote-book)
Farewell
- an original, enjoy :) I miss your hands the patterns I used to draw on them their crooked lines like vines on your fingers I miss your smile that dimple on your left cheek and that laugh that clumsily stepped down the scale you were the type of unknown that I couldn’t help but know a stranger that I somehow knew a mystery that I was able to solve I wish that we could fall back into our routine and become comfortable once again with each other, with ourselves and return to our life together but you are your own person now without me, without ‘us’ you have your own routine one that does not suit two our story has ended and it is not a happy one, but a strained and open-ended ending the kind that may continue but does not promise to #original #poetry |
